If you send me an e-mail and I reply to you, when you reply back, PLEASE INCLUDE MY PREVIOUS RESPONSE on the e-mail, so I can more easily keep track of what we were talking about. A response from you a week or more later with one or two words and no other information on it just doesn’t make any sense to me sometimes. I send and receive e-mails every day to/from a lot of people, so it makes it easier for me to keep things straight if you INLCUDE MY PREVIOUS RESPONSE in your e-mail reply.
Also, PLEASE FILL OUT THE SUBJECT OF YOUR E-MAIL when contacting me. I don’t open e-mails with no subject or suspicious unknown attachments because they look like they might contain viruses or trojans or SPAM.
Last thing, if you don’t get a response from me the first time, PLEASE REACH ME AGAIN, because some of your e-mails might have gotten caught in my SPAM TRAP.
I am currently processing applications for Free Domains (of your choice: .com/.net/.org), but some applications are being denied and deleted because they do not meet our qualifications.
On the application form for Free Domains, it clearly states that all applicants must already have an established site with an HQ design, good content and regular blog updates. Some of you are applying for sites that either don’t exist or they do exist, but they have nothing on them. Please read the application before you apply, don’t just fill out the application and ignore everything else or you will not get a Free Domain from FanStar.org.
If you do not have a pre-existing site that meets our qualifications, you may apply for a Free Subdomain account here at FanStar.org instead. I do not buy Free Domains for brand new sites. If you have any questions, please contact us. Thank you!
I have decided to change the Free Domains adoption process, because I keep adopting domains out to people who don’t actually do anything with the domains. The domains often just sit there and the sites never get built, so I will be screening people more thoroughly before I allow domains to be adopted from FanStar.org. We currently have a bunch of Free Domains available for adoption, but I will only be adopting those domains out to experienced people who already know how to build and maintain a website. I just did a quick site check (I only checked the Subdomain accounts). I was mainly looking to see which established sites on FanStar.org’s hosted Subdomains could be upgraded to Free Domains. I sent out a bunch of e-mails, so please get back to me ASAP guys, so you can get your Free Domain upgrades ASAP! I’ll finish checking the rest of the sites shortly. I’m waiting to hear back!

Even after my recent revamping of our Hosting Application in a attempt to make it as easy as possible for all applicants to understand, I am still getting incorrectly filled-out applications for Free Domains, so I feel the need to clarify FanStar.org’s position on Free Domains once again:
- FanStar.org will provide Free Domains (of your choice .com/.net/.org) for established sites only.
- To qualify for a Free Domain, you must already have a site that has a HQ design, full content and a history of regular updates hosted on a Subdomain either here or at another host.
- FanStar.org will only provide a Free Domain for your established site and not for any other site.
- If you do NOT meet our qualifications for a Free Domain, you may apply for a Free Subdomain.
- Do NOT apply for a Free Domain unless you have a site that meets our qualifications.
- Do NOT “apply” for anything on our Contact Form. You must fill out an application.
- You can’t ADOPT a Domain that I do not already own. If it’s not on the list, forget it.
- Adopting a Free Domain that I already own and getting a Free Domain of your choice are two different things. Do NOT ask to ADOPT a Domain that I do NOT own already!

My laptop crashed a few months ago and I lost a bunch of e-mails. I recovered some of them, but not all, so your application might have gotten lost. I have a new desktop PC now, so I can process apps much better than before. I needed something a bit more hardcore to handle you guys.
